Daily Bible reading: Matthew 16, Exodus 12-13
THE MIGHTY CHURCH
The church must belong to Jesus since He is the builder of the church! Jesus said to Peter: And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock, I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it Mat.16:18. Not because Peter was the oldest disciple, but because at that time Peter got revelation from Father God that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God.
The church must be commenced with a divine revelation and agreement that Jesus is Christ, He is the only begotten Son of God that given to this world so that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life Jn.3:16. This is the rock, the most solid foundation of the church and what every believer must agree with. As long as the church stand upon that, the church will be a mighty church! The power of Hades (also translated as hell) will not be able to touch the church. No one will be able to kill the church, no one will be able to separate the church from the love of God.
The church start from each individual believer and Holy Spirit will bring them all to one body of Christ. Stay connected within our local church, always keen to be united with other believers, so that the power of mighty church keep remaining within us until Jesus come again and find His church as glorious church Eph.5:27.
GEREJA YANG PERKASA
Gereja harus menjadi milik Yesus karena Dialah yang membangun gereja! Yesus berkata kepada Petrus: Engkau adalah Petrus dan di atas batu karang ini Aku akan mendirikan jemaat-Ku dan alam maut tidak akan menguasainya Mat.16:18. Bukan karena Petrus adalah murid yang tertua, melainkan karena saat itu Petrus mendapat pewahyuan dari Allah Bapa bahwa Yesus adalah Kristus, Anak Allah yang hidup.
Gereja harus dimulai dengan wahyu ilahi dan persetujuan bahwa Yesus adalah Kristus, Dia adalah satu-satunya Putra Allah yang diberikan pada dunia ini sehingga siapa pun yang percaya kepada-Nya tidak binasa melainkan beroleh hidup yang kekal Yoh.3:16. Ini adalah batu karang, pondasi gereja yang paling kokoh, yang harus disetujui oleh setiap orang percaya. Selama gereja berdiri di atasnya, maka gereja akan menjadi gereja yang perkasa! Kuasa Hades (juga diterjemahkan sebagai neraka, alam maut) tidak akan dapat menyentuh gereja. Tidak seorang pun dapat membunuh gereja, tidak seorang pun dapat memisahkan gereja dari kasih Allah.
Gereja dimulai dari setiap individu orang percaya dan Roh Kudus akan membawa mereka semua ke dalam satu tubuh Kristus. Tetaplah tertanam dalam gereja lokal masing-masing, milikilah semangat untuk selalu ingin bersatu dengan orang-orang percaya lainnya, sehingga kekuatan gereja yang perkasa tetap ada di dalam kita sampai Yesus datang kembali dan mendapatkan gereja-Nya sebagai gereja yang cemerlang Ef.5:27.
