Daily Bible Reading: 2Corinthians 12, 1Chronicles 28-29
THE THIRD HEAVEN
When God reveal something for His people, it must be very important for us to put our attention in it. God showed to Paul about a man who caught up to certain level in heaven. Paul wrote: “I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago—whether in the body I do not know, or whether out of the body I do not know, God knows—such a one was caught up to the third heaven 2Cor.12:2.”
Back to the days of Moses, the Tabernacle also had three parts and it was built according to the pattern which was shown to Moses on the mountain Ex.25:40. The Tabernacle was the copy and the shadow of the heavenly things Heb.8:5. The Tabernacle starts with the court as the first part, the Holy Place as the second part, and the Most Holy Place as the third part. So, it relates each other between the vision that Paul received and the Tabernacle that Moses saw at heaven.
That vision teaches an important thing for believers. The way to the third heaven is opened! We are invited to dwell with God and experience the fulness of His presence deep in the Most Holy Place. Let’s keep our inner man growing so that we may advance from the court to the Holy Place and then to the Most Holy Place, because the veil had been torn and Jesus had opened the new and living way through Him Heb.10:20.
SURGA TINGKAT KETIGA
Ketika Tuhan menyatakan sesuatu untuk umat-Nya, maka pastilah hal itu sangat penting untuk kita perhatikn. Tuhan menunjukkan pada Paulus tentang seseorang yang dibawa ke tingkat tertentu di surga. Paulus menulis: “Aku tahu tentang seorang Kristen; empat belas tahun yang lampau–entah di dalam tubuh, aku tidak tahu, entah di luar tubuh, aku tidak tahu, Allah yang mengetahuinya–orang itu tiba-tiba diangkat ke tingkat yang ketiga dari sorga 2Kor.12:2.”
Kembali ke zaman Musa, Kemah Suci juga memiliki tiga bagian dan itu dibuat sesuai dengan pola yang ditunjukkan pada Musa di atas gunung Kel.25:40. Kemah Suci adalah gambaran dan bayangan dari apa yang ada di surga Ibr.8:5. Kemah Suci dimulai dengan Halaman sebagai bagian pertama, Ruang Suci sebagai bagian kedua, dan Ruang Maha Suci sebagai bagian ketiga. Jadi, keduanya saling berhubungan antara penglihatan yang diterima Paulus dan Kemah Suci yang dilihat Musa di surga.
Penglihatan ini mengajarkan hal penting bagi orang percaya. Jalan menuju surga tingkat ketiga terbuka! Kita diundang untuk berdiam dengan Allah dan mengalami kepenuhan hadirat-Nya jauh di dalam Ruang Maha Suci. Manusia batiniah kita harus terus bertumbuh sehingga kita dapat bergerak maju dari Halaman menuju ke Ruang Suci dan kemudian menuju ke Ruang Maha Suci, karena tabir telah terbelah dan Yesus telah membuka jalan baru dan hidup melalui diri-Nya Ibr.10:20.
