LOVE NEVER FAILS
Love of God is the strong answer for the problems among Corinthians! And love of God is also the strong answer for any problem that may occur among believers. Corinthians might already have everything, but without love of God all of that richness will become nothing! We may understand all things, but without love all will become nothing! The teaching about God’s love in this chapter actually a strong rebuke for so many problems that found at Corinth, and also a strong rebuke for believers!
God is love 1Jn.4:8. The great commandment is also about loving God and loving others Mat.22:37-39. Even all the law is fulfilled in one word and that is love Gal.5:14. It is truly essential that all believers must have the love of God in their life. Because of love, we will be able to read God’s words faithfully every single day and keep His commandments Jn.14:15. Because of love, we will be able to take care the sheep of God Jn.21:15-17. This is the power of God’s love!
Whenever we see problems in our life, let’s first see inside ourselves if the love of God still can be found abundantly in our heart or not. Without God’s love, we may ruin our life. But when we let the love of God, with all of its characters, reigns in our life, we will truly find heaven inside our life and it will overflow and bless others!
KASIH TIDAK BERKESUDAHAN
Kasih Allah adalah jawaban yang kuat untuk masalah di antara jemaat Korintus! Dan kasih Allah juga merupakan jawaban yang kuat bagi setiap masalah yang mungkin terjadi di antara orang percaya. Jemaat Korintus mungkin sudah memiliki segalanya, namun tanpa kasih Allah semua kekayaan itu tidak ada artinya! Kita mungkin memahami semua hal, tetapi tanpa kasih semuanya sia-sia! Ajaran tentang kasih Allah dalam fatsal ini sebenarnya adalah teguran yang kuat atas begitu banyak masalah yang ditemukan di Korintus, dan juga teguran yang kuat bagi orang percaya!
Allah itu kasih 1Yoh.4:8. Perintah yang terutama juga tentang mengasihi Allah dan mengasihi sesama Mat.22:37-39. Bahkan seluruh hukum Taurat tercakup dalam satu kata dan itu adalah kasih Gal.5:14. Sangatlah penting bahwa semua orang percaya harus memiliki kasih Allah dalam hidup mereka. Karena kasih, kita akan dimampukan untuk membaca Firman Allah dengan setia tiap hari dan memegang perintah-perintah-Nya Yoh.14:15. Karena kasih, kita akan dimampukan untuk memelihara domba-domba Allah Yoh.21:15-17. Ini adalah kekuatan dari kasih Allah!
Setiap kali kita melihat masalah dalam hidup kita, mari pertama-tama kita melihat ke dalam diri kita sendiri apakah kasih Allah masih dapat ditemukan berlimpah di dalam hati kita atau tidak. Tanpa kasih Allah, kita dapat menghancurkan hidup kita. Tetapi ketika kita membiarkan kasih Allah, dengan semua karakternya, memerintah dalam hidup kita, maka kita akan benar-benar menemukan surga dalam hidup kita dan itu akan mengalir keluar dan memberkati orang lain!
