1 O’CLOCK MIRACLE

Capernaum is about 39 km away from Cana. However, the miracle of Jesus is not limited by the distance. The Bible wrote: Then he inquired of them the hour when he got better. And they said to him, “Yesterday at the seventh hour (or, one in the afternoon) the fever left him.” So, the father knew that it was at the same hour in which Jesus said to him, “Your son lives.” And he himself believed, and his whole household Jn.4:52-53.

Actually, it was the same hour when that father chose to believe upon the word that Jesus spoke to him Jn.4:50. He then walked back from Cana to Capernaum with a strong and living faith, even though he did not see anything yet. He had left his son in Capernaum at the point of death, and then he was going home with faith. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen Heb.11:1. Finally, his servants met him and told him, saying, “Your son lives Jn.4:51!”

God is never stop working! Indeed, He works at the same time when we believe. God said: “Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; Nor His ear heavy, that it cannot hear Isa.59:1.” Whatever sickness, whatever problem, whatever condition, we may have right now, rest assured that we can put our faith in that mighty name, the Name above all names, in the name of Jesus! Jesus said: “Do not be afraid; only believe Mk.5:36.” Let us choose to believe because the Bible told us that we are able to see the miracle happen at the same time when we choose to believe.

MUJIZAT JAM 1

Kapernaum berjarak sekitar 39 km dari Kana. Namun demikian, mujizat Yesus tidak dibatasi oleh jarak. Alkitab mencatat: Ia bertanya kepada mereka pukul berapa anak itu mulai sembuh. Jawab mereka: “Kemarin siang pukul satu demamnya hilang.” Maka teringatlah ayah itu, bahwa pada saat itulah Yesus berkata kepadanya: “Anakmu hidup.” Lalu iapun percaya, ia dan seluruh keluarganya Yoh.4:52-53.

Sesungguhnya, itu adalah jam yang sama ketika ayah itu memilih untuk percaya pada perkataan yang diucapkan Yesus padanya Yoh.4:50. Dia kemudian berjalan kembali dari Kana ke Kapernaum dengan iman yang kuat dan hidup, sekalipun dia belum melihat apapun. Dia telah meninggalkan putranya di Kapernaum dalam keadaan hampir mati, dan kemudian dia pulang dengan iman. Iman adalah dasar dari segala sesuatu yang kita harapkan dan bukti dari segala sesuatu yang tidak kita lihat Ibr.11:1. Akhirnya, hamba-hambanya datang padanya dan berkata, “Anakmu hidup Yoh.4:51!”

Allah tidak pernah berhenti bekerja! Sesungguhnya, Dia bekerja pada saat yang sama ketika kita percaya. Allah berkata: “Sesungguhnya, tangan TUHAN tidak kurang panjang untuk menyelamatkan, dan pendengaran-Nya tidak kurang tajam untuk mendengar Yes.59:1.” Penyakit apapun, masalah apapun, kondisi apapun, yang mungkin kita miliki saat ini, yakinlah bahwa kita dapat menaruh iman kita dalam nama yang penuh kuasa itu, Nama di atas segala nama, di dalam nama Yesus! Yesus berkata: “Jangan takut, percaya saja Mrk.5:36.” Mari kita memilih untuk percaya karena Alkitab mengatakan kepada kita bahwa kita dapat melihat mujizat terjadi pada saat yang sama ketika kita memilih untuk percaya.
