How would we define the goodness of God? Praise God that the Bible give us a complete understanding about that, so we might not interpret it with our own understanding. God is good and He always good, but how many times people like to abuse His goodness. Through the history of the Kingdom of Israel and Judah, we may learn how the goodness of God always evident at all the times, never fail, and everlasting for those who love God. The goodness of God is so rich yet not to be despised, instead the goodness of God leads us to repentance.
